About
Alpine Sparks is the synchronized skating program of Alpine Skating Club, a Denver metro club whose home ice is the Apex Center in Arvada. Synchronized skating brings a group of skaters together to perform fast, detailed routines as one unit, and the team describes it as a way to build edge work, spatial awareness, and lasting friendships. Skaters of various levels are welcome, whether they are new to synchro or want to sharpen a competitive edge. Teams perform at local competitions, club exhibitions, and annual showcases, and the program announces tryouts, clinics, and information meetings each spring and summer. At the December 2025 Mile High Synchro Classic in Highlands Ranch, the Alpine Sparks Aspire 2 team placed first in its event. Families can follow team news on the Alpine Sparks Facebook page.
