Broadmoor Skating Club

About

Broadmoor Skating Club is a historic U.S. Figure Skating member club headquartered at the Broadmoor World Arena Ice Hall in Colorado Springs, a U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Site with an NHL sheet and an Olympic sheet. Incorporated in 1938, the club began at the Broadmoor Hotel's Ice Palace and became known for its ice shows. It counts Peggy Fleming among its members and reports eight Olympic medalists, three of them gold medalists, and more than 200 national medalists. Today the club hosts U.S. Figure Skating test sessions on Sundays, the Broadmoor Fall Classic, the final weekend of the 2026 National Qualifying Series, and Fire and Ice, a mock competition with timed warm-ups and simulated scoring that is free for spectators. New members need sponsorship from two current members and a letter of application. Its coaches page lists member coaches along with their PSA ratings.
