Monument Ice Rinks

About

Monument Ice Rinks is a two-rink ice facility in Monument, Colorado, just north of Colorado Springs. Founded in 2006 after the rink at the Chapel Hills mall closed, it has an NHL-sized rink and a second 200 by 85 foot rink in separate buildings. Programs serve ages 3 to adult and include Learn to Skate, beginner and learn-to-play hockey, stick and puck, public skating, curling, and broomball. The rinks are home to several organizations, including the International Ice Academy of Colorado figure skating program, Colorado Rampage Hockey, D38/Lewis Palmer High School hockey, Monument Hockey Club, and 365 Performance Training. The facility says it serves the El Paso and Douglas County region, including Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, Parker, and south Denver.
