About
Mountain View Skating Club is a nonprofit U.S. Figure Skating club founded in November 2007 by parents and coaches, with its home at the Greeley Ice Haus in Greeley, Colorado. The club welcomes skaters of all ages and levels and offers membership tiers for Learn to Skate and Basic Skills skaters, Aspire and Free Skate skaters, full testing members, college skaters, families, and coaches. Members can join the Ice Diamonds, a performance team that competes in Showcase events, or the Synchro Sapphires competitive synchronized skating team, and summer mini-sessions let newcomers try either team. The club hosts U.S. Figure Skating test sessions, the Front Range Invitational competition, a high school team for Northern Colorado skaters, a winter ice show, and an annual awards banquet. Adult and youth members complete yearly volunteer hours.
