Pueblo Ice Arena

About

Pueblo Ice Arena is a year-round indoor rink and events center in downtown Pueblo, Colorado. Opened in fall 1975, the 39,800 square foot building has a single NHL-size 200 by 85 foot sheet, four locker rooms with showers, party rooms, a concession stand, and electric ice resurfacers, and it can hold up to 3,000 people for concerts. Public skating sessions welcome beginners and recreational skaters, with no sticks, pucks, jumps, or spins allowed, and Friday nights bring a laser light skate. Figure skaters at Basic 4 or higher, or with a coach, can practice and take private lessons on freestyle sessions. The Pueblo Skating Academy runs weekly 30-minute lessons for tots through Basic 6 and Free Skate. The arena is home to the Pueblo Figure Skating Club, Pueblo Bulls hockey, and local high school and adult teams.
