Revolutions Skating Club

About

Revolutions Skating Club is a nonprofit figure skating club in Aspen, established in 2009 and recognized by U.S. Figure Skating. It serves Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt, Carbondale, and the rest of the Roaring Fork Valley, welcoming skaters of all ages and levels. For the 2026 to 2027 season the club holds one-hour sessions on Mondays and Fridays at the Aspen Ice Garden and Lewis Ice Arena, plus fall Saturday sessions at the outdoor Carbondale Extreme Ice Rink. Each session includes a group class and rental skates, with skaters 6 and older getting a 30-minute class followed by 30 minutes of free skating, while younger children learn through games under supervision. Membership is billed monthly, with sibling discounts and free skating for parents. All coaches are members of U.S. Figure Skating and the Professional Skaters Association, led by founding member Michelle Hocknell.
