Rocky Mountain Figure Skating Club

About

Rocky Mountain Figure Skating Club is a volunteer-run nonprofit member club of U.S. Figure Skating based at the Ice Centre at the Promenade in Westminster, Colorado. Started in the late 1970s at the old Hyland Hills Arena, it serves as the home club for figure skaters training at the Ice Centre. Members train and compete in free skate, pairs, ice dance, and synchronized skating, and the club reports 12 national champions in free skate over its history. It runs U.S. Figure Skating test sessions at the rink several times a year, shares local competition dates, and puts on an annual ice show. Skaters can also get involved through a junior board, high school lettering, scholarships, and the RMFS Jags high school team for grades 9 through 12. Membership runs July 1 to June 30 and is handled through EntryEeze.
