Smokey's Skate Shop

About

Smokey's Skate Shop is an equipment service shop inside The Ice Ranch in Littleton, Colorado. It is run by a longtime sharpener known as Smokey, who is well known among hockey players across the Front Range, from youth skaters to adult league regulars. Services listed by The Ice Ranch include skate sharpening to a chosen hollow, custom steel profiling, boot heat molding, boot punching and stretching, holder and runner replacement with blade alignment, rivet and eyelet replacement, and hockey glove repalming. Posted prices start at $12 for a standard sharpening, with profiling and boot work priced separately. The shop keeps regular hours Tuesday through Sunday and takes questions by phone or email. Because the shop's focus is hockey equipment, figure skating families should confirm directly that it handles figure skate blades before dropping off a pair.
