About
Denver Colorado Figure Skating Club is a nonprofit U.S. Figure Skating member club based at the South Suburban Sports Complex in Highlands Ranch, with Family Sports Center in Centennial as a partner rink. It formed in 2020 when the Denver Figure Skating Club, started in 1938, merged with the Colorado Skating Club, founded in 1972. The club reports more than 500 members and hosts test sessions, the Denver Invitational, the Cup of Colorado, the Mile High Synchro Classic, and a Colorado high school team competition. Its Launchpad classes cover edges and basic jumps and spins for skaters from Learn to Skate Level 4 through Pre-Preliminary, and adult master classes offer coached ice for skaters 18 and up. The club is home to Denver Synchronicity, Ice Theatre of the Rockies, the annual Showtime On Ice production, and Holiday On Ice shows.
