South Suburban Sports Complex

About

South Suburban Sports Complex is a multi-sport facility in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, operated by South Suburban Parks and Recreation. The building has three sheets of ice along with turf fields, gymnasiums, meeting rooms, and a restaurant and bar, and it replaced the district's older South Suburban Ice Arena. On the ice, the complex offers public skating, skate rentals, freestyle sessions sold through punch passes, Take-A-Shot and drop-in hockey, and youth recreational and travel hockey programs. Learn to Skate classes run from Parent-Tot through Level 6. Private figure skating lessons are available from district staff coaches, who must be PSA or ISI members and are paid directly by families. The facility also hosts STEM field trips about the science of ice sports, and the Edges & Dreams figure skating pro shop operates inside the building.
